| Bible Stories as told in ASL will
provide the participants with a series of tools and
hands-on experience/exercises that will enhance their
skills as ASL storytellers. Using stories from the
bibles such as Joseph and the coat of any colors, Jesus'
birth Sampson and Delilah, Noah and the arc, etc, the
session will cover several key aspects of the
translation/storytelling process in order to give the
participant a clear and concise understanding of how to
move from the story (English) to a more
visual/conceptual version of idiomatic ASL that is
visually pleasing, educational, and inspiring as
scripture is intended. |
